Squints

A squint or strabismus is where eyes don't point in the same direction. Children may be born with or develop a squint. Adults can also acquire a squint. Any suggestion of a child's eye squinting or problems with double vision need investigating, You should see an Orthoptist or Specialist to diagnose the type of strabismus and start the correct treatment which may involve glasses, patches, exercises or an operation.

Mr Davey works with an orthoptist to provide a one stop service for diagnosis and treatment of squints at the Holmfirth Eye Clinic and the Yorkshire Eye Hospital. If an operation is required, Mr Davey operates at either the BMI Hospital, Huddersfield or the Spire Elland Hospital.
